Day 129: Beastly

My current read, Beastly by Alex Finn.

I'm finally reading a book assigned by the book club.  Not something self-assigned.  I can finally join the discussion.  This is something fascinating to me, because I don't often venture into the young-adult genre.  I started reading earlier, and I'm almost half-done.  So far, I think it's an interesting take on a classic.  I haven't seen the movie, but had wanted to because Neil Patrick Harris is in it.  I probably would after reading the book.

Reading music: Ours (The Bravery)

  2. ^ Is that the same as the movie (the one starring Vanessa Hudgens)? I barely read novels nowadays (puros na lang medical books - Yuck! Haha!). Perhaps I should make a trip to Powerbooks or Fully Booked someday. :)

  4. @Dianne: Hehe... Hahanap din siguro ako ng dibidi. Gusto ko mapanood si Neil Patrick Harris. :D

@photoparjour: With what I've read so far, I think it's okay. It's not exceptional, but neither is it bad. :)

@Reggie: Yep. It's the same one, sis. I don't care much for Vanessa (peace sa fans), pero I'm interested in seeing it after I'm done with the book. :)

  8. @Joanne: Eto yung YA read for the month, sis. Di siya mahirap basahin. I finished it in two days. At leisurely pace 'to ha. Yung fiction for the month ang medyo iniisip ko pa (My Sister's Keeper). Iyakan daw eh. Parang ayoko. :P

  11. I read the book a few months ago. IMO, it's better than the movie. I nearly fell asleep watching it!
