Day 186: Breakfast Reading

This is how I just spent the last couple of hours since I got home.  Having breakfast and reading.

The breakfast being the bowl of corned beef and potatoes, and watermelon for dessert.  The books in the photo are on the reading list for July.  I have read One Day, but I may need to refresh my memory of it's details.  I'm currently thumbing through Room by Emma Donoghue.  I had to start reading through it, otherwise, I might forget about needing to finish it before the discussion starts.  Also, I had to read non-work related literature to clear my head of all the numbers I've been calculating the entire day at work.  I'm back to going through the odious task of rediscovering payroll and tax, and by the sixth hour everything being discussed just sounds like blah, blah, blah...

Winding down with a song about stalking: Goodnight and Go (Imogen Heap).  I know, I'm so weird.

I'm currently reading One Day, medyo nabibigatan ako.

Haha.. Mabigat din yung Room, sis. Mas mabigat siya kesa sa One Day. Five pages pa lang, nalulungkot na ko. Hininto ko nga at parang lalo akong mas-stress.

Kelan pala palabas ang One Day?

  3. Yung YA yung The Book Thief. Buti pala nabasa ko post mo about sa Book Club.

Ang bigat nga nung One Day. Baka ihinto ko muna. Simulan ko yung Miss Peregrine.

  4. @Dianne: Buti nga at nabasa mo, sis. Hahaha... Ihihinto ko na muna tong Room. Baka ma-depress ako at maging suicidal. Payroll and tax pa naman ngayon. :P

  5. hahahaha!!! One Day at Room kasi yung nag-tie tapos nung walang nakapag-break ng tie, nag-coin toss nalang ako tapos One Day ang napili.

  6. @Dianne: Sinimulan ko pa naman siya basahin with the premise na young adult naman 'to, hindi siguro mabigat. Hay jusko. Kala ko pa naman, I have all the books for July. :D

  7. I would have love to read a lot more books that are not related to work too. When you read books (that you like) it's like you're living a carefree life. I miss that :)

  8. @Chew On This: I agree. I used to read three to four books in a month. :P
