Day 225: A Stolen Night Shot
I went out to meet a friend and took this shot for the theme of the week. I wasn't happy with it, but before I could take another, a guard asked me if I had a permit to take pictures. Of course I didn't. I'm a hobbyist. So, I didn't really get to take any other decent shot for the night. Oh well.

Day 132: Blood Red Summer
Night sky at 3:00AM. It was red, believe me. It looked like the sky was illuminated by some sort of fire. Just like a Blood Red Summer (Coheed and Cambria) night.
Blogger was out yesterday, so I couldn't post this picture. Thank God for post options, though. I can still date it for Thursday's post.
I knew I was going to rant. My ATM card was captured by a machine, and I have since had very limited access to my funds. I cannot deal with cash because of this, I can only transact with checks. Don't expect me to have a credit card either, because I do not feel comfortable using money I don't have. The thing is, these days, the only things you get to use checks with are realty and loan sharks. Since buying property isn't something I do on a regular basis, I needed to find a way to transact for more basic common things. Like food, for example. Tell me, what establishment in this city accepts checks? Isn't a check supposed to guarantee payment better than credit cards? If it bounces, you can sue. So, how is it that hardly anyone uses checks for daily transactions?
I did say I was going to rant, didn't I?

Day 4: Night Shift
I'm nocturnal. I'm not trying to be poetic, I just really am. I've been living most of the last six years wide awake during the night. So much so that when I spent a month working during the day, I felt completely misplaced, as if I was transported to a different timezone. Seeing daylight was a bit fascinating for me. Fascinating and weird. I have always felt more productive at night. The world seems more introspective after twilight. Add the fact that I like watching lights flicker on velvety black background. It's also strange that one thing I probably like best with working in the night, is going home in the morning. Morning light is always refreshing. No matter how stressful work is, walking home in the morning always makes me feel there's something good to look forward to.
Soundtrack: Enchanted by Taylor Swift
